SUMMARY
Position is responsible for operating welding equipment to build high quality parts, subassemblies, and finished product. Weldments vary in type, size, and direction and are performed on a variety of production lines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Must receive a passing score on the Welder Qualification test and recertify skills as required by program guidelines
Operate an overhead crane to maneuver parts safely into place
Adjust welding current to proper weld configurations
Heats and forms metal parts and components using hand tools, torch or welding equipment
Welds components in flat, vertical or overhead positions
Accurately operates and reads measuring devices
Assembles and welds various metal parts together
Properly positions material/parts to be welded
Trains and works in various areas of production in response to production demands
Follows verbal and written work instructions including ability to read blue prints
Attention to detail necessary to adhere to quality standards
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Works in both team and individual settings
Good attendance required
All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED
6
months of welding experience either through education or work
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Welding Certification through an educational institution
1
year(s) of welding experience in a manufacturing industry
Night shift positions start at 5:
00 PM and work till 3:
30 AM with a 30 minute lunch time from 10 to 10:
30 Mon,Tue,Wed, Thurs. Friday schedules vary due to production demand however, plan on 5 hours Friday night. 5:
00 PM to 10:
00 PM.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
